Lab Essentials

Lab Essentials curates the experimental tools and protocols supporting peptide research — reagents, buffer systems, reconstitution guides, storage protocols, and analytical methods. The section is intended for researchers actively working with compounds in the PharmaKinetics catalog.

Reconstitution & Storage

Most lyophilized peptides reconstitute optimally in bacteriostatic water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol; some hydrophobic sequences require partial DMSO or acetic acid. Reconstituted product should be stored at 2-8°C with use within 28 days, or aliquoted and frozen at -80°C for long-term storage.

Reference Protocols

Detailed protocols for cell-culture handling, in-vitro receptor assays, and analytical validation are available in the Articles section. Topics include HPLC method development, peptide stability assessment, and characterization of biological activity in receptor-overexpressing cell lines.
